Bowled around the Fen for the umpteenth time again yesterday, 13th April - very little to show or it. Just where are all the summer migrants?
Last weekend I went to Fen Drayton - less than 2 miles away and it was just dripping with warblers - Willows, Blackcaps, Chiffies, even several Sedgies.
It just ain't fair!
